Relationship Specialist

We are looking for an outgoing individual who will help increase Illumis Global’ s presence. You will be responsible for building new customer relationships and driving growth through increased sales.

You will be armed with the latest prospect and pipeline management tools and will work within our team-based sales department. This position reports directly to the Vice President. Our Relationship Specialist will focus on closing high volume, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities within complex, strategic accounts, and net new opportunities.

Your Essential Duties

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new prospects.
  • Increase revenue and profit within your territory by creating new relationships that can be closed for new deals.
  • Work with the marketing department on producing marketing materials
  • Engage with new potential customers and leads to sell the entire Illumis Global suite of services.
  • Build positive, trusted relationships with both key team members and decision makers within accounts and become a natural at helping potential customers realize value from their engagement with Illumis Global.
  • Develop opportunities through both warm leads and prospect discovery.
  • Conduct high-quality business development daily outreach via phone, email, social media, etc. to drive the top of our sales funnel.
  • Provide timely outreach to inbound leads that are generated through referrals, website interest, etc.
  • Assist in development and implementation of overall long-term strategy for the account while aligned to customer business objectives.
  • Document all sales, prospecting, and client activity in our CRM platform.

Required Experience:

  • Strong relationship management skills, people skills, and the ability to quickly establish rapport
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
  • Managing the sales cycle from business champion to C-Level
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • High level of computer literacy in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel overnight occasionally for company meetings and trade shows

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College degree preferred
  • Sales experience preferred, but not required

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience selling in the software industry or technical sales experience (e.g. SaaS)
  • Experience with analytics, data, databases, predictive modeling, or business intelligence
  • 3+ years work experience

Salary:

  • Salary based on experience, education, and skillset
  • Commission based on performance
